Do i need to have a work permit to audition for roles if im a minor?

Okay, i've seen different sites saying different things and i was wondering whats the truth? do i need to have a work permit to audition for roles if i live in georgia?

I don't think you do. After all an audition isn't classed as work. If you were to get the part, then the prospective employer, if you pass, would have the clout to organize such things.

Well with any work permit you need to secure the job first before you get one.  If you get the role, then you would probably need the permit.
