Do i need to pick specific subjects in A levels to be a music teacher?

I am obvisously picking music, but is there any other i have to pick????

  1. Not specifically, no.

    You will need to have got C or above in both your Maths and English GCSEs, so if you don't have that, then you'll need to redo the course.

    If you are thinking of being a music specialist in a Primary school you'll also need a C or above in a GCSE Science subject.

    If you're looking to train for Secondary then another arts subject may be useful from the point of view of flexibility when appointing, but otherwise you should choose the subjects where you think you will be most successful.
