  1. You Don't Havto But It Would Help xoxo

  2. Most dance schools recommend that you take ballet before taking any other form of dance, but they do not force you. You should make that decision on your own, or ask your teachers for their opinion. But since you've been taking many years of jazz, you'd probably be fine. I'd just go onto lyrical and not take ballet if I were you. Have fun!!

  3. You probably don't. Since you've been doing jazz for that many years. if you start lyrical and are having trouble you might want to start taking ballet though.

  4. if you have already done jazz then no

but it would most likely help

but jazz is kind of similar to ballet in a few ways

    so you wouldnt have to

  5. there's no rule that says you have to, but if you want to improve your technique and control it would be a VERY good idea to take some ballet.

lyrical is a whole other boat than jazz, much more control much more grace. you need to be on top of your center to be sucessful at it.

I think it would be a wise choice to take some ballet, it will only make you better.

Unless you're happy where you are and don't want to improve jump right it.

I'm just an advocate for ballet because it helps tremendously.

    good luck :)
