Do i need vacinations if im moving to Australia?

Im British, live in the UK and am moving to Oz in August. Do i need to visit a doctor beforehand?

  1. snap, i'm moving over there to in august from the uk and don't need any. but you do i believe if you have recently been to countries that have high counts of yellow fever, tb etc. what to do is go to the post office and get the new version of the E1-11 form. It gives you a list of what you should be immunised against whether its for your safety or the countries saftey


  2. Not unless you plan to stop off in somewhere llike Thailand on the way through, then if so definately see your Doctor for your vacinations. Otherwise Australia is OK.

  3. No vaccinations available for dingoes, red backs, funnel webs, king browns...so no, you do not need vaccinations although it is always advisable to visit your doctor.  then if there is anything specific which needs to be sent on to the medical profession in Oz they can get it organized whilst you are still looking for a local doctor there.
