how long are you planning to stay?? you can stay for up to 3 month (i think) without a visa orgreen card!

That is correct, as a U.S. passport holder you do not need a visa providing your stay does not exceed 90 days.

You may also visit the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland without a visa so long as your stay does not exceed 6 months.
