Do i plug rca cables from xbox 360 into aux to get pro logic?

i do not no how to get pro logic out of xbox 360

  1. If you are trying to get  surround sound from your 360, why not get cables that have the optical digital output? As a matter of fact, aren't the stock cables that come with it capable of this?

    I'm assuming you are connecting this to receiver that has an optical digital input. You will get a better sound since pro logic is only a simulated version of true 5.1. It still sounds ok, but I can tell the difference. With an optical connection, it will sound awesome.


  2. No that will only give you analog stereo audio. In order to get Dolby you need a receiver/amp that will do Dolby and run the optical cable from the 360 to the amp.

  3. If u set ur 360 to stereo u get prologic from ur amp. If u set it to 5.1 u dont. This is because the 360 only outputs 2ch music no matter what, my amp says 5.1 coming in but my 360 music only comes out the frount speakers. If u want multi ch sound from the xbox goto the sound menus and change it to 2ch. PS always put it bk to 5.1 for games. ps the xbox dosnt make prologic amplifiers do that.
