  1. yes, the 3 answers you got about 30min ago were correct.

the dryer was probably made in china, they sometimes use yellow for ground. just pretend that wire is green and hook same color to same color.

  2. red black are hot- yellow neutral  ground-white main ground-on bar hook red black white-yellow goes to frame--look in manual they should show how to hook up

  3. This question is asked very often and almost always it is answered incorrectly.Like the first three answers from the first time you asked. There will be a block with three studs to connect the cord to.The two outside studs will be the red and black wires. The center will be the white wire. The green wire will connect to the metal frame of the dryer. There will be a s***w for this,it should have a wire connected to it coming from inside the dryer[this is usually a green wire].This wire needs to be removed from the s***w.It is a bonding wire from the white [neutral] wire to the dryer frame. With a four wire cord you do not want the neutral bonded to the frame. This bonding wire should be installed with the white[neutral] wire on the center post. This wire is connected to the white[neutral]wire inside so by placing it under the neutral s***w you have just disabled it by making it loop from the neutral wire internally to the neutral terminal, but it is still there if the dryer was ever moved to a location that has a three wire hookup.

  4. Becareful how wire a 220v appliance. Think of 220v as back to back 115v AC source. Black wire is the hot side for side A and red wire is the 115v for side B. So when you connect red and black wires to the dryer, you are providing 220volts. White/yellow is neutral and for 220v appliances, it does not need to be connected unless your source of electricity has neutral provided, usually a white wire. The green wire is for ground and is a safety wire in case one of your hot wire happens to short to ground and will trip your circuit breaker instead of being shocked to death.

  5. If I am picturing your situation correctly, I think the green goes to the frame of the machine.  There should be a green s***w (no wires, just a s***w) near the other wires.  The white goes to white/yellow, the red to red and the black to black.
