Do i really need wax on my skimboard?

yes its a piece of polished, slippery wood. its like a new sheet of metal or a tile floor..your going to slip

Yes, waxing your board is always a good idea. Dont buy s*x wax. Use Stickybumps or another brand. IF you dont have an archbar or traction pad, you should get them. You want all the traction you can get on your skimboard. When you wax it, it should look like these boards : http://img520.imageshack.us/img520/1097/...

ya its worth it especially if your wave riding

you can also get a tail pad or arch bar but there much more expensive than wax

just pay the $1 FOR THE WAX you will fall a lot less
