ok i just got a girdle so i can excises with it and i want to know if i still have to suck in and squeeze my stomach when i work out with it on

  1. well if you want the truth, a girdle or brace actually takes less strain off of the muscles and in return your muscles will work less. so unless you really need it i wouldn't wear it at all do to the fact that it will actually make the affected muscles weaker.

  3. You have to keep your belly button in, but dont suck it in, then you cant brethe, just contract your stomach muscles

  5. Dont use ut when you work out. People expect you to be chubby if your working out!

  6. You should always suck in and squeeze your stomach.  That strengthens your abs and makes them tight.  Once they're tight, you won't have to concentrate on sucking in all the time - they'll already be flat!

  7. yes, otherwise your abs won't gain any strength, and are you sure you want to exercise with a girdle??? It sounds horridly uncomfortable.

  8. Unless you've been recommended by your doctor to wear a girdle while exercising I wouldn't do it.

    Do you know many people who do that?

  9. when you suck in while working out it's not building the muscles that you aim on strengthening. so no.
