Do i still have to install an operating system to the other hardrive?

i got two hardrive in my desktop and i'm going to reformat it. do i have to install oprating system on both hawrdrive?

No, not if your just going to reformat the slave drive, the os on your primary hard drive will still recognize it as a slave drive.

no only on one drive format one drive then leave the other unformatted when you have finished installing the operating system when you enter the hardrive windows will ask you this partion is not formatted format now press yes choose partion type then press formate
