Do i still have to pay this mechanic?

alright so last year i got some tie rods for my car put it. he said he would call me when the bill was ready. i called him a dozen times. he has just now billed me and i think he added a thing or two to it. i never signed anything. what do i do? try to do?

  1. Well, if he fixed it, you have to pay, but if he did things that you didn;t tell him to I'd tell him about that charge.


  2. Just call him up and go over the bill.  The bill should show the parts; what work was done and the cost.  If it's not what you agreed on, you shouldn't have to pay for those repairs or services.  It's not that hard.  Pick up the phone.

  3. If you don't want creditors bothering you or a lawsuit, pay the guy.

    If you think he is charging you for more work than he did, call him and see if you can work out an agreement. If you can't agree than just pay him for the work you do think he did and see if he tries to sue you for the rest.
