  1. I believe immigrants appreciate being here more than those of us who have always lived here.  Many of our current immigrants are escaping genocide in their own countries.  And many come from countries ruled by tyrants & despots. Poor here is nothing compared to being poor elsewhere. That is certainly the main reason why Mexicans want to live and work here.  Consider how many immigrants can finally practice their faith w/o worrying about being slain for it.  It would be unusual if they didn't appreciate America more than we.

  2. in my opinion no. well some of them do but some are rude and laugh when they just got saved from being killed. but some of them are really nice and do appreciate

  3. i think with the more immigrants that come to America, the less Americans appreciate being here.

    :p

  4. Immigrants have a high appreciation for the US because some came here and risked their lives doing it, and others escaped the horrible civil wars, and know that the sky is the limit here. They take advantage of that opportunity by either getting the education to taking whatever job they can get at whatever pay.

Immigrants less likely to commit crime

The Public Policy Institute of California has just issued a surprising new report finding that immigrants to the Golden State are far less likely to commit serious crimes than those who are native-born. The study finds that even though foreign-born residents make up 35 percent of California's population, they make up only 17 percent of those incarcerated. Among men aged 18-40, the most likely to commit crimes, immigrants make up an even lower percentage. Native-born Americans in that age group who were born in the Untied States are 10 times more likely to be in county or state prison than immigrants. Hopefully, the study will put some xenophobia to rest.

  5. of course! alot of the immigrants look at this as something nice and better living. us citizens look at this like whatever because we were born and raised here

  6. Umm.. Duh!!!!!! Like my BF he wishes for the opportunities that we were all born with we all pretty much seem to take the things (opportunities) we have for granted and dont even realize that what we have compared to others like himself, it is just sickening! I swear if he were given the chance to have the access to schooling or etc. he would without a doubt reach for highier levels, than most Americans would even attempt to apply even just half as much effort in becoming more than what they feel is their path which is choosen for them no matter how they take, airgo taking granted of our opportunities, and a lot of Americans never even think about it because they or some just feel like "whats the point i can fall on my feet and than justexpect to be able to rely on the state to support me or their family" THAT is just MESSED UP YA HEARD!!!!!!! Unlike my BF he has had to work his entire life and i mean hard labor too! he's never waited for anything to just like fall into his lap or for things to just ya know happen. He has always had to work and work hard for everything in his life because Mexico has a rediculous government and because of the poor employment and low pay he had to do something; so he came here, so that his mother and father and brothers and sisters wouldn't have to continue living penniless. So to your question on if i think that they appreciate being here more than an actual born citizen my answer is absoloutly!!!! SO YES he is VERYYYY!!! APRECIATIVE!!!
