  1. She will probably come back.  Keep doing what you're doing.  Leave food and water out and keep going out there and calling her name.  Does she have any toys or a bed or anything that she likes and smells like her?  If so, I'd put that out next to the food and water.

  2. My cat always goes outside then when he's ready to go in, he sits on the front porch and waits for someone to open the door. He's a barncat so I don't know. Let him be and if he comes back great if not within the next day put posters up.

  3. I had the same exact problem, only mine was an accident. We had a big hole on the screen of our window and my cat got out without us knowing. When I looked for her and noticed, I went to my backyard and started to call her. She was always indoors so I was worried that she ran away to explore. I had my whole family out searching and calling her around the neighborhood. When we gave up, a few hours later she was at our backyard door meowing and waiting to come in.

I bet you will find her. =] Cats are very smart and like to explore. If there's food out and she has been outside before, she should be back soon. Just give her some time. Good luck!

EDIT: OMG! She is so precious in that video. Looks like she is half asleep. So adorable! :]

  4. we have an indoor cat and my sister will not allow him outside. We've taken him outside on a too small of a leash and by holding him. I hope indoor cats do come back, for Babey's sake!

  5. just leave her alone, but keep food and water on your porch. she's probably just exploring and will come back in a day or two.

however, if she's declawed, i would be worried b/c she won't be able to defend herself.

  6. i would call her or click your tongue a bit more. If she doesn't come back then prop open the door and wait. She will come back.

  7. If you can and it's safe prop the door open for her. They love to watch you go crazy worrying about them. If kitty isn't back by morning start calling the usual places they get taken near you and don't forget to call them all as sometimes they can travel quite a ways before getting picked up. Then post flyer's all over the place

Bubba (she?) will come home when she's ready.

  8. Our cat Tigger got her "taste of freedom a few weeks ago. She decided to play hide and seek but didn't tell us that we would be the ones seeking her. She got chased up a tree by a tom cat and stayed up the tree for 4 days but was out for a total of 6 days (from a wednesday to a monday moring) when she came in she was very hateful (this lasted 4 days) and about 2 weeks ago she did it again and came back the next day, Keep the food out and keep calling. Bubba will come home when she has had her full of the big wide world outside her door.

  9. umm I think that cats need to be trained to be able to go outside and back in.

  10. Firstly, dont worry 2 much. My cat ALWAYS gets out of the house, even tho shes an indoor cat.

It's usually in their nature to come back home! Eventually she'll be tired and hungry, and she will find her way back to you.

Overnight, maybe leave the back door a bit open, or just leave the food and water out and maybe a blanket or newspaper that she could sleep on.

im sure in the morning she'll be there!!!!

    btw, wats her name?

    My kittys name is Sushi!!!!

Shes really silly, but also a very nice cat. She doesnt scratch, or anything like that.

    Whats your cat like?

Dont worry Im sure she;'ll b home soon!

    Have a good night!!!!!

  11. be patient.  She is probably getting more comfortable with being outside and is exploring.  I wouldn't worry untill more than a day or two has gone by.

  12. I think there is a very good chance that she will come back. I had an indoor cat that ripped the dryer hose out of the wall and then tunneled under lattice work surrounding my steps. He was gone for ten days. I walked the neighborhood, shaking his cat treats. Then ten days later I was on my deck and I thought I heard his meow. Down our hill he came, a little skinny. I don't know if you will be able to keep him inside after this. I know my cat went crazy until I let him out. Good luck.

  13. yes indoor cats come back cause my friend has an indoor cat and it comes back so good luck!!!

  14. Hard to say. I use to have a cat that would run out any chance it got. We left the doggy door open for it, and it usually popped in just after dark. One time it didn't return until the next morning!

  15. depends on the cat

  16. it just depends on the cat.

they mostly always come home but there are other possibilities like someone picked bubba up.

you should put out fliers for her.

  17. omg PLEASE do not wait for her to come back home.

About 3 weeks ago, my cat got out, and since he loves

to go outside my mom just left him out for the night.

After two days he hadn't come back like he always

did. That day out of coincidence our neighbor who didn't

even know it was our cat told us that she had found

a cat on her lawn that had been attacked by coyotes.

Not a day goes by that i don't think about my kitty.

i had him for 11 years. I don't want anything like this to

    happen to anyone else.

So i suggest that you definitely go out and look for her.

    Good Luck.

  18. i think the cat will come back because thats were it lives

  19. look for her she may be lost or hurt somewhere
