Do infants need passports?

I live in the UK so will my infant need to get a passport to fly with me or to visit other countries in Europe?

  2. Yes they do, but they only pay partial for the flight since they'll be sitting with you, depending on the age.

    YES, they sure do. But the cost is a little cheaper for kids as for adults. As well will the air travel be at "discount-level" due to the fact, that an infant will NOT occupy a seat!
