Do inmates at fci correction in fort worth use cash money?

i wanted to know if the inmates in prison in fort worth uses cash money because i want to send someone cash but i dont know if your allowed to sent them cash. I know that they have a commisary there.

  1. No, when you want to send someone money while they are locked up, you either have to take it to the prison in a money order and have it put on their books to they can buy the stuff from commissary or you have to mail it to them in a money order and the mail workers which are guards, open the mail and put all the money orders together and then take them to the book keeper that keeps track of everyones money. It will get to the person you want to send it to.  


  2. you must send an inmate money in the form of a money order. Do put the inmate's number after his/her name AND DO..DO keep your money order receipts.

  3. You can send the money through Western Union its way quicker than through the mail they get it posted to their account within 2 days or less....also US postal Money orders clear quickly.in about 4 days.But no cash is allowed must be Money Order
