Do inner coolers for xbox 360 even make a difference?

ive had my xbox 360 for a year and my innercooler for about six months and i dont know if it even helps. my xbox is freezing a lot now so im going to take thing and see if it helps.

I would recommend not using it, there has been no actual proof that they mess up your Xbox, but many people have reported defects in it, and there xbox freezing, crashing, etc. cooling systems are for hardcore gamers who play 24/7 or just leave there Xbox on all of the time. If you play alot, i would recommend you just turning your Xbox off after about 5 hours of game play for about an hour, then you could start playing it again.
