  1. DEFINITELY !   ! Always the simplest  way to come to a conclusion  is the best.. The fastest and fullest explanation!! Those who prolong and over-explain  do it to enhance themselves to impress!!                                   SOLOMON

  2. Sometimes they do through over analyzing. But, I consider myself intelligent, but have common sense. Common sense overrules my over analysis more often than not.

But, a couple of my step-children are very intelligent also, but male. They over analyze constantly. Asking a simple question brings a 5 minute answer.

Maybe the difference isn't between intelligence or not, perhaps the difference is in having common sense or not, or being male or female.

I tend to, through experience, believe that men over analyze and over speak.

  3. I don't know about intelligent people, but people like plumers, electricians, and auto mechanics will describe a piece of equipment in their language that I do not know what they are talking about.  I stick an electric cord in a plug-in, to them it is an outlet.

  4. I do. I tend to analyze things to death and sometimes I just confuse myself. For example, I used to have trouble figuring out which way to turn a s***w to make it go clockwise because I didn't know if I was supposed to look at it from the top or the bottom. I have since sorted it out; but I used to have to think about it in order to use a screwdriver.
