  1. Do you eat a hamburger with a fork?

  2. japanese people eat most food with chopsticks

(except for like curry, stew, spaghetti, etc)

  3. People use spoon or chopsticks occasionally for eating peas.

It depends on each kind of how peas cooked on dishes.

You can use chopsticks to pick one pea or fasten some peas together with or carry them on case by case. Sticking a pea by chopsticks is not good but bad childish manner though.

Japanese use spoon as well as Americans for western dining even in house food. Knife and fork are less popular though instead.

You may ask spoon if Japanese restaurant or friends offer you only chopsticks for meal. It is not out of etiquette.  They must have some spoons but not always have knives and forks.

  4. I live in Japan, and using chopsticks is about the only Japanese-type thing I can do. Apart from stews and curries which are eaten with a spoon, the only peas I normally come across are in lunchboxes (or maybe stir-fried food in Chinese restaurants,) and they just sort of stick to the other stuff when you pick it up, so chopsticks aren't difficult at all.

  5. I think they eat them with chopstick with spoon just like us!

  6. I thiiiiink japanese people eat everything with chopsticks...except for soup... They probably pick them up in small amounts

  7. Chopsticks.  Spoons are usually for soups and sometimes rice.

  8. I never saw or ate any peas when I was in Japan, but they would either eat them with chopsticks or with their hands (if they were in snack form, like wasabi peas).

  9. My guess would be that they don't eat peas.

But if they did, man would it ever be hard to pick them up.
