Such as these...http://www.dancewearcorner.com/Products/ViewProduct.aspx?sReturnTo=%2FProducts%2Findex%2Easp%3Fbd%252D2115649983&iProductId=2141168965&sAction=view

I have never been a dancer myself, but I find myself needing to know the answer to this question ( I know it is a weird question?). So are those type of shoes like tap shoes or are they silent?

  1. The split sole jazz shoes you are referring to are usually silent.  Unless you click your heel down for a reason, or land really hard, it should be quiet.  The toe sole is very thin, so no noise is made.  The heel is a little thicker but still doesn't make much noise.  Jazz sneakers tend to be louder.

Are you needing a silent shoe or are you wanting to hear the click?  Good luck!
