Do jewelers accept trade-ins?

Can I trade in a diamond ring to lower the cost of a new ring i am buying???

It would depend on the jeweler.  Some jewelers will buy just the stones from you as they can reset them in something else.  The gold or whatever the setting is usually isn't worth much to them.

You might be better off selling the ring on ebay or a similar site.
