Question:

Do joint "supplements" REALLY work? Or just SNAKE OIL?

They are NOT FDA approved, and the ingrediants sound like chopped up bovine (cow) cartilage. Chondritin, Glucosamine....How would they medically work? Just because the ingrediants are cartilage products, does that mean they will aid a human's joints???? Sounds fishy to me. Especially when you need to be taking it for several weeks before any noticable effect. (Long after the sting of the $$$$ to buy it.) If it REALLY works for you, please tell me about it. I have bad shoulder impingment pain in both shoulders.

  1. If you're not buzzed after the first or second joint-then I would say that supplements are not the issue-it's your dealer-sounds like inferior weed to me.

  2. Dood. I didn't even read any of that...

Lemme just tell ya...JELLO. It works for my dad, and hes retired military...

  3. Glucosamine works for me. It's as if someone put an oil can and lubricated my joints. Natural remedies don't always  work as quickly as drugs. Regarding your shoulder pain, if it's bursitis, eat fresh pineapple and the problem will be  alleviated. Otherwise have it diagnosed and treated accordingly.

  4. don't take that stuff. from time to time my right shoulder kills me. i do a wrestlers back bridge, hold it for one minute and the pain is gone instantly. it works for me. find out more at www.mattfurey.com

  5. I have RA.  I have taken fish oil supplements for the past 30 years and have had pretty good results, but because of having injured a couple of fingers in the joints, I could no longer open and close my hand.  So I decided to try the Chondritin, Glucosamine.  Within a couple of days I could already feel a difference.  By the end of the first week, I was able to freely open and close my hand with no pain and no stiffness.  Condsidering the price difference between the otc supplements and the px drugs, it's always worth at least giving the otc supplements an honest try.  My aunt also has RA, and has never used otc supplements for it, only the px drugs.  She is in terrible shape because of the side affects of the px drugs.  Sometimes the side affects of those drugs are worse than the disease.  Give it a try, and lol.
