Do journalists with PhDs receive good pay?

I think I might consider majoring in journalism along with psychology. I really enjoy writing, but I know that journalism is a very tough job. Orginially, I hoped to get a PhD in psychology and a master's degree in literature. If I work for a specific company, do you think I will make good money with my degrees? Thank you.

Few journalists have PhDs. It's more of a practical discipline. Most people with advanced degrees go into teaching.
