  1. Except we don't call them SUVs.

    Four wheel drives  :-)

Plenty of kangaroos in the south west of Australia too.

  2. I live 14km from the centre of Brisbane in Queensland's South East and we have wild kangaroos and wallabies (a small type of 'roo) on our 7 hectare bush property.

  3. Yes.. we have kangaroos all over the continent.

There are so many of them that we sometimes hit them with our cars just to keep the numbers down.

(only joking about "keeping the numbers down" . But they CAN be a pest on the road. They would jump out in front of you and NO WAY you will be able to stop in time. I even hit one on the way home from work about 8 months ago. I was lucky with just a broken headlight. Usually they cause an average of $1000 worth of damage)

    Cheers

  4. They live anywhere and everywhere

  5. Yes!  In fact, they're much like deer in the United States.  Locals have "roo bars" on the front of their SUVs because the kangaroos run out on roadways and do a lot of damage to vehicles.
