It is somewhat implied on the last episode (if you didn't know it can be watched in different patterns) the episode with the pony tail thing you know the one can be viewed as the last episode you can check out the novels the seris was based on they are the sigh, bordom, and Vanishment of Haruhi Suzumiya... according to wikipedia they are makeing another seris that will be based on the last light novel Vanishment

It is not specifically stated about it yet but there's possibilty. Haruhi seems to like Kyon a lot but I guess Kyon didn't realized his feelings towards her yet.
