Do labels matter when it comes to first and second impressions of people? if so how much?

  1. They matter to some people, but mostly because those people "need" to be something other than who they are.  Running around in a goth get-up says much less about who you are than who you want others to see you as.  Too bad people couldn't simply be real instead of hiding behind their facades ... but that ain't gonna happen.  They don't have the courage.


  2. My grandmother always told me that labels were for jars.

    In my lifetime I really believe first impressions count the most because it will burn in your mind the experience you have seen and felt. The second impressions is almost as important as the first.

    Its easily to be fooled by impressions but sooner or later after several more observations you will finally see that it was real or a put on.
