Do ladies think all men get paid the same ? Truth to the wage gap.?

The wage gap is our fault, not companies...period. We get pregnant, take more time off of work- sometimes yrs. off , don't have as much pressure the guys have to make money, and more. You should get paid by performance and reliability not by resume. Resume gets you in the door, negotiating skill gets you good starting pay, performance and RELIABILITY gets you more money and promotion. It's just fact that most of us rather raise/spend more time with the kids than make max as much as money like men have the option of doing . What do y'all think ? There will always be a wage gap . ALWAYS.

    I think that its very cynical to present this imbalance as proof of a patriarchal conspiracy, this misinformation has been used by feminist groups to enrage and manipulate women, gain access to funding, and change employment law.

    I wouldn't be surprised if some countries do legislate against it though, Spain for instance has a "man tax".

    I sense from this that the UK government has plans legislate against it too.

  2. You've entirely missed the point. Not all women have babies, and those that do usually only take as much time off as the men do for paternity leave.  

  3. i think you're naive to the reality of many jobs industries. i work for an electrical construction company and if you would like to see an example of gross mistreatment of females in the field, come on down. i work for a company that actually likes to turn away female employees or when we do hire the rare one here or there, they stick them in the crib (which is the area responsible for tracking tools used on a job). it's not because they're pregnant or take more time, it's because they're women.

    so please, explain to me again how that's their fault? the fact is there are MANY male dominated fields that show no respect for women.

    maybe you're statements apply to a few things here or there  but you've grossly underestimated the abilities of women. to call yourself a feminist and then make a general statement about how women makes less because of pregnancy, come on.

  4. JM, that's similar to what they do to men applying for day care positions or host positions at restaurants isn't it?

The average woman has about 2 children- The average time taken off work for childbirth is 8 weeks.  So she should be penalized for the rest of her life because she took 16 weeks off from work for medical reasons?  How about guy who breaks his leg playing softball and needs 6 months off - is he penalized for the rest of his life as well?  

  6. Yeah, cause kids will raise themselves and it's not like people need them anyway.

    So get back to work, you ungrateful women and make sure the wheels of industry turn 24/7 if you want a decent wage!

  8. if you can not handle a high paying job and would rather be home with your kids then yeah your going to have issues with a job you are working at, but as for a wage gap... this is not the 60's and i have no idea wtf you are talking about

    women who are just as qualified as men get the same amount as any man who work at a a job and if it's not like that then it is not legal
