I am currenlty taking care of things on my credit each month. My total debt is $20,000. One includes a $10,000 auto loan that was reposessed (was unemployed for several months). I am studying the LSAT to take it am planning on attending Texas Tech, Texas Southern, or Univ of Houston. Do these schools or any other do credit checks as a part of admission decisions? 1. No but state law boards sometimes do, so be sure your credit is OK by the end of law school. Varies by state.
