Do laws of God change according to the human Gender?

Men may marry up to four free woman at the same time, then he can divorce one of them and marry a fifth, as long as he does not keep more than four wives at one time. He may have s*x with a unlimited number or slave girls and concubines. Sura 4:3 (a chapter in the Koran )says, "If ye fear that ye shall not be able to deal justly with the orphans, marry woman of your choice, two or three or four, but if ye fear that ye shall not be able to deal justly (with them), then only one, or that which your right hands possess that will be more suitable, to prevent you from doing injustice."

2:223 Your wives are as a tilth unto you; so approach your tilth when or how ye will;

Sura 4:34 (a chapter in the Koran ) states, "Men have authority over women because Allah has made the one superior to the other." On page 36 of his book, The Women and Islam, Ahmed Zaki Tuffaha wrote, "God established the superiority of men over women by the above verse (Sura 4:34), which prevents the equating of men and woman. For here man is above the woman due to his intellectual superiority…."

why there is no verse for disobedient husbands?

Do God pre-assume women are usually disobedient?

4:3 - Read the whole thing...Its an order to keep a person from hoarding the wealth of orphans under his care. If he is afraid he can't keep from dealing unjustly with their resources, he should marry a woman (dependent) who has less and he won't worry about dealing wrongly with their resources. The 2, 3, 4 thing is a suggested limit, according to their resources. The whole idea is not to allow men to satisfy their libidos, its to keep them honest with the wealth of their dependents. Read before and after it too, to support this.

4:34 - Men have more shoulder power and can do more physical work than women...Is this in doubt? It actually says than men have a measure of authority over women because he has given slightly more to the men. It doesn't mention intellect.

The beat translation needs scrapped....its out of synch with the rest of Qur'an. Daraba means about a dozen things, most meaning to leave. Finish. Choosing Hit for the translations seems intentional.

I know what the tv says and what the muftis say, but I much more wonder why they say it. They are knowlingly falsifying what is said in Al Qur'an.

There are Christian parallels as well, in which women are treated as not equal to men. Here's an example:

Paul's 1st Epistle to Timothy, Chapter 2 verses 9-15:

"In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; but (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works. Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. For Adam was first formed, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety."

The books of the Jews tell that Prophet suleiman pbh had 700 wives.

It mentions that Prophet Abraham pbh had 3 wives.

It was only the christian church which told that a person should marry only one women. While it is nowhere written in the Holy scriptures of the Jews or the Christians to marry ONE WOMEN......

QURAN IS THE ONLY SCRIPTURE ON THE FACE OF THE EARTH WHICH STATES THAT "IT IS BETTER IF YOU MARRY ONLY ONE..."

Man & woman are not the same. Physically man is capable for managing more than 1 wife. Also many circumstances arise in his life such that he come across more than 1 woman. Today we have millions of examples in our real life. In Islam it is not compulsory to have more wifes. It is allowed under very stringent conditions.Today we have the men  from other religions having one wife and lot of keeps, mistresses. This is great disrespect for the women and the children born out of the illegal affairs. Islam gives equal rights to all women and make it difficult for men who seek more than 1 woman in his life. Why single out the Qur'an?  I Corinthians 14:34-35, "Women should keep silent in Churches, for they are not allowed to speak, but should be subordinate, as even the law says, but if they want to learn anything they should ask their husbands at home.  For it is improper for a woman to speak in church."  All the Abrahamic traditions relegate women to a subordinate role, Jewish men are required to give thanks to God that they weren't born women.  There are lots of verses for disobedient men, they answer to the God they are commanded to worship and obey, just as women answer to the Husband that they are commanded to worship and obey.  If you follow that faith you shouldn't question it or complain, because it's the life you have chosen.
