  1. well meal worms are high in phosophurus and fat so you should usually only feed them mealies as treats.  ANYWAY you could feed them crickets but those jump around a lot so you COULD feed them freeze dried crickets i think.  Also silk worms can increase calcium intake so those are pretty good.

    HOPE THIS HELPED!

  2. Mealworms are OK for leos, but variety is best.  Use crickets, phoenix worms, silkworms, and superworms also.  Yes, they can overeat!  If her tail is nice and plump that is fine, but if she has fat pads under her front arms then she may be a little overweight.  Adult leos can be fed 3 times a week.

  3. Feed crickets instead of mealies, meal worms are nutritionally deficient, and have too much chitin in their exoskeleton to make them a healthy staple.  And no, its hard for a lizard to over-eat, they'll eat until they're full, and then stop eating.  Once this happens, you should remove the insect that's being fed from the lizards enclosure.

  4. yeah they can overeat, but not often. they will usually have theyre fill and then stop, and rest. and i would have to say that you should feed it crickets. all of the chitin in the mealworms will get it impacted.

    hope i helped. shannon
