Vampire is to Werewolf as Leprechaun is to _______?

I know it sounds stupid, but I'm writing my friend a book for her birthday, and I can't think of what the antagonist should be. I was thinking that it might be an elf, but I wasn't sure. (Oh, and I know humans are supposed to be one of the enemies, but I am looking for something other than that)

  1. some say it witches, or maybe gnomes

  2. For the record, in folklore, vampires and werewolves were not sworn enemies. They were simply two entirely different legends.

    I'd imagine Leprechauns hate humans.

  3. Munchkins

  4. Hello,

The enemy is any thief who tries stealing the leprechaun's pot of gold.

    Cheers,

    Michael Kelly

  5. little kids who want to steal his gold. a little girl perhaps.

  6. Lol, I was gonna say 'the Irish' but as you don't want human - hmmm.....I guess Elves, like you say. And Pixes? They can be mischievious and as they're small too they'd probably do battles with Leprechauns!

Or for something different, how about Trolls?

Anyhoo, you might find reading the following link about Leprechauns might give you some story ideas!

  7. I think probably Leprechauns vs. Banshees? I think so. ^_^

  8. Considering the supposed emnity of werewolves and vampires is a recent invention, the only way to complete that comparison would be to used something that is so ridiculous it's funny.

Maybe refrencing the conflict in N. Ireland, just to make it extra extreme. Like "Vampire is to Werewolf as Leprecaun is to  BRITANNIA'S BLOODSTAINED HUNS!!!! "'

PS: I withdraw my submission and vote for Munchkins - too funny.

  9. Are they really small?

  10. FAIRIES -----
