Do les pauls use humbuckers?

I'm getting a les paul and i need to know if they use humbuckers

Yes. Gibson invented the PAF pickups-later to be revolutionized as humbuckers and so the pattern begins of humbuckers (sound canceling ) pickups began.

No you can't put a Floyd Rose on a Gibson unless you route out the body.

They usually use humbuckers, that's what they came with in 1954. Sometimes they have p-90s, like Specials of LP jrs.

To route the body, I think you will need to take it to a professional guitar workshop. But you coudld install a Bisgby tremelo or Maestro if you want by yourself.
