Do like amusement parks? Why or why not?

I do and think they are fun but I haven't gone to one in eons. I kind of miss those fun roller coaster rides. Buckle up and have a safe night.

Yes I do..  I live just  a 4 hour car trip from SIX FLAGS over Texas.  Fantastic amusement part!  I go once a year.  Also there is a Rodeo and stock show that comes every March just a few miles from here.  It has a traveling carnival that travels with it which has some pretty great rides.  I rarely go to the rodeo.  Once you've seen one rodeo, you've seen them all.  BUT I always make it to the carnival for the rides.

Not anymore.  Not since my last trip to Busch Gardens.

I get carsick really easily, so I took some all-day anti-nausea pill.  I rode on one ride, and felt terrible when I got off.   I decided to sit for awhile and rest.  Then I started to feel really bad, and I knew that I was going to lose my breakfast.  I started heading for the van in the parking lot.  

It started to rain.  So here I was trying to make my way out of Busch Gardens in the rain and trying to keep from vomiting until I got out or could get to a restroom.  No such dice.  I ended up vomiting over and over again in an alley in the rain.

I finally made it to the van, where I hung out.  Every now and then, I had to go outside and vomit again.  Took me 3 days to feel back to normal.  

This was a memorable part of our vacation that year.

I've only been to a theme park one time since, and refused to ride anything.   So.... I don't think there is much point going again for me.

I LOVE amusement parks because it's fun riding all the rollercoasters and water rides especially at Cedar Point and Islands of Adventure.

They are so much fun....but after a while the thrill is lost so i have to do crazy things and stuff....like eat five bags of cotton candy, get on a ride, and try not to throw up after....it's fun...

Go with a whole bunch of friends.....an even number though (for the rides)

It really depends on what kind of rides are there for me.  I'm the kind of person that does not do loop roller coasters, or roller coasters with really big drops.  I like gentle rides a little better, I'm not into thrill rides very much - though I have been on Space Mountain and Tower of Terror, and I thought those were crazy!

I like them but I have a HUGE fear of heights so I only go on the rides that stay on the ground . lol I know not much fun . = )

Yes i love amusement parks because of the rides. but i haven't been to one in Virginia!
