Do limewire or ares work on windows vista??

Question

i have vista and it is not connecting to the network. i checked and its connection fine on windows xp so i was wondering if these programs were compatible with windows vista. thanks

i have limewire and I'm using windows xp

and it works great

you should try unrunning limewire and re-download it again

ANYTHING that works on XP works with Vista.This is a common problem,reinstall limewire.

ares does i use it all the time. limewire has given me virus so i don't trust it

yep. My laptop is Windows Vista and it works just fine with Limewire

geez ppl, your going to ruin the music industry by using limewire. if artists see that people arent buying their songs because people can get them for free... they wont bother to make them. heres a tip... use amazon or itunes

I have vista on my laptop and limewire works just fine. Check to make sure it's not an administative issue which may cause it not to work (basically check to make sure that you are logged in on the main account on your computer, then try it).

I have windows vista basic & also know people with xp & it works with limewire.i've downloaded and also unistalled limewire a couple of times .Yes its compatiable maybe the site is just down.Try it again later.Im about 2 downloaded again right now

I have Vista, doesn't work for me either. It might be a firewall problem. I downloaded MP3 Rocket (just like Limewire) and it works beautifully. You can find that on download.com
