Yes they do. However I am curious about what a dinosaur f**t sounded like. Some of these things were enormous, like the diplodocus, and with equally enormous intestines, I'm sure the farts were enough to echo throughout the prehistoric countryside. If I could go back in time with a video camera, that's the first thing I'd record.

My cat farts.  It is almost always silent, and it always stinks really bad.

Flatus is generated by microbial populations in the intestinal tracts of all animals.  So it is entirely possible for a lion to "pass" intestinal gas.  I haven't been around lions to hear or smell bowel gas.  I have seen male lions "mark" visitors who weren't alert or knowledgeable of cats' marking behaviors!
