Question:

Do local SPCA's spay/neutur rabbits also? i dont know where else to go besides a vet who costs 200 per rabbit

  1. Some do, some do not.  The most important thing is to find a vet that does a lot of rabbit spays/neuters.  This is crucial as surgery for a rabbit is more difficult than surgery for a dog or a cat.  You need to find a vet with experience and confidence more than you need a cheap vet.

  3. Why do you want to  alter them?  Just keep males and females separated  then there will be no baby bunnies

  4. Hmm. Thats a tough one. Possibly only get one done now, and the other done later, I'm thinking male, and Female?

    If so, then spay the female immediatly, or your other option is to, leave them in sepperate cages.By doing this you avoid babies, and the cost of money..It will be lots cheaper to buy another cage, rather than spay or neuter.
