Do longboards have a convex curve to them?

Are you talking about the deck or the bottom???

Convex will also depend on which way you're looking at it...

Are you talking about the rocker?? If so that curve will vary with each board's design and how you want it to perform.

Almost all surfboards have some concave to them...although it is on the bottom, not the deck.  The trick is the location.  Nose riders will have a concave spot just back from the nose.  A performance long board may have dual concave at the tail.  Best bet is to go to a shop and find a board you like and see there the contours are.
