Do love birds and parakeets get along?

ok so i just bought a huge huge huge cage for my love birds. After watching the love birds have so much fun flying around in the cage, i was wondering if i should put my 4 parakeets in the cage with them? Do you guys think they will get along good ?

i have a lovebird and 2 budgy's  togetyher in the same cage, and at first they fought a little, but then i figured out the problem, it was the food dish, it was too small for all of them, and the lovebird kept on pushing one of the budgies out, after i put 2 food dishes in the cage, they never fought again, and eaven preened each other evry once and a while, so it ok to have them together as long as they have a big enough cage and have their own sepret things.

Generally speaking the answer is no. Lovebirds are fiercely territorial, and will bite the legs of the budgies and the budgies will go nuts. You can try briefly if you want, but it is highly unlikely. There are cases where it has worked, but they are very rare. The lovebirds will keep the budgies from the food also, and bully them.

Please don't do that . Lovebirds will bite the parakeets to death . I have a lot of birds spicies , each kind go to each flight cage if they are babies , and if they are adults , then I put one male & one female in each cage ...otherwise they will fight for territory and some poor weak birds will die . TM.

No, not a good idea. keep in mind birds of different species should not be together. They get aggressive. The word share is not in a birds vocabulary. So for the safety of your birds dont put them together.

No, it is not normal for different species to get along, especially within the same cage.

Of course, there are exceptions, however i would not reccommend trying this.
