  1. my lower back tat was my first tat and i didnt know what to expect so yeah it hurt pretty bad at first. it felt like he was cutting me with a butter knife. but, after a few mins the pain dulled away and it just became more of an irritating feeling. just keep a conversation going to keep your mind off it and you'll be fine. it will be over before you know it and its totally worth it!

  2. Are you speaking of lower back near your butt?  If so, I just got a tattoo on that part of my very lower back.  And yes everyone pain tolerance is different however, that mess hurt bad!!!  The further she got to the sides the more it hurt.  It was worth the pain because I love it, but truthfully speaking it is painful.

  3. Rea is pretty correct on this one... however I have a tattoo on my lower, center back.  I got it when I was 18, almost 10 yrs ago.  I think getting a tattoo in that particular spot is hot.  The ugliest place you could get a tattoo (for a chic) is on the side calf or upper arm.  That's trashy to me...  As for the pain - mine wasn't too bad but I have a high tolerance for pain... 3 natural child births!  Just assess your pain tolerance and need for the tattoo and go from there.

  4. Everyone's pain tolerance is different. Needles will be penetrating your skin, which will most likely cause some amount of pain. It also depends on your pain tolerance, how long the area will be tattooed for, and if the area is bone, muscle, or fat.

    BTW, tramp stamps are overrated.

  5. No mine didnt hurt at al and mine is huge, it tingles and it makes your nerves twitch...ppl always make it seem like they hurt but they dont, dont listen to it...
