me and my dad fish off shore and we always use live bait do lures work off shore

  2. if bottom fishing large jigs and buck tails work for most fish you catch with live bait. use 5 to 6 ft of flora carbon leader. a lot more bites and hook ups.

  3. it depends on what you are fishing for. If you are fishing for bass then lures work for offshore fishing and it works for crappie trout and all other kinds of bass but if your fishing for bluegill or any of those kind of fish then a worm and bobber is your best bet.

  4. of course, lures work both ways, but you have to keep in mind that youre in a boat so you dont really have to cast that far, if youre fishing for perch or bass you should use a lure that is 1/4 or more of the size of the perch or bass ur aiming for, they like to go for big things. here are som videos that im sure youll find helpful: they explain technique and the lures:

  5. lures, will work good for catching fish offshore.

    it is best, to use them in conjunction with a depth finder & down rigger
