Do lycopodium spores "shine" in indirect sunlight; but look white when magnified 500x & illuminated by LEDs?

  1. Yes, that's because it has a high rate of light reflection. Many things "change" color when magnified. For example a feather of a peacock, which looks bright green will have a different color in LED light than in sunlight...Sometimes a feather will actually look very dull under the microscope (color-wise) than it looks under natural light....
