Do makeup products have any expiry dates ?

I am thinking to buy NYX makeup products soon in the quantities of 2 but I am afarid that if makeup products have any expiry dates

I am asking this question because I am not sure that for what time period I'll be using the makeup and what if makeup expires ??

It isn't stated on any makeup products when the makeup expires, but I did read a few things that you might find useful:

Mascera-3 months after opening

Lipstick-5 months after opening

Foundation-8 months after opening

Nail polish-4 months after opening

Complexion powder-1 year after opening

Eyeliner(liquid)-4 months after opening

Eyeliner(solid)-5 months after opening

Don't ask me how they got these results (found in one of my Allure magazines), but I do hope this helps.

YES! And you should definitely replace it when necessary because if you don't then you will end up with bacteria growing in your make-up. Powder based make-up will last the longest and mostly last about 18 months- 2 years, liquids will last around 24 months unless they are eye related then only 6 months and this is the same for most eye products like eyeliner and mascara. But if you want to double check then look on the base or back of most products and there should be a small pot with a 'm' on it and the 'm' is months so 24m will be 2 years ect....

once u open it,crack the seal eye liner and mascara have a 6month date..eye shadow and blush r a year or so..u can contact covergirl and ask them...eyen if its not..

Yes makeup does expire. it's usually about a year or 2.

AFTER OPENING

mascara = 3 to 6 months

liquid eyeliner = 3 - 6 months

pencil eyeliner (sharpened regularly) = 2 years

oil free liquid foundation = 1 year

regular liquid foundation = 2 years

face powder/ powder blush/  = 2 years

eyeshadow = not sure but probably 2 years

lipgloss/ lipstick = 1 year (some people say 2 years)

concealer  = 2 years
