Do male figure skaters wear socks or tights?

Question

Can you also provide information on what type of socks or tights, how many, etc... The more detailed the answer, the better.

ive seen many wearing like thing black dress socks or like....ankle stocking type things...just really thin....or even just bare foot. they dont wear tights though.

it all depends on what kind of costume you ware... but all skaters ware some kind of socklet inside their skates,  if they didn't they would develop blisters,,, i like the long sleeve flowing shirts that button down the front for the guys. with the first 2 buttons undone... makes them look very relaxed and confident.... when the guys consumes are very tight to the skin it makes them look like a stick... not very nice...and very stuck up too...

and classical music is ok but modern music is better... its more creative to the mind and helps make more motion in the body as well...

Some wear tights. I know a guy at my old rink who wore over the boot tights underneath his black pants...

I've seen them wearing athletic tights for warming up and practice.  The rules don't allow them to wear tights instead of pants for performances.  I don't know if some wear tights under their pants when performing.

i wear really thin black socks, like really thin. sort of stretchy. and for practice i just wear long or short sleeved UnderArmour/ Nike dri-fit shirts.
