Do male rabbits stop making sperm?

do they stop making sperm after a year like the females? i have heard that after a few years that it is harder for does to make and have babies. is it the same for bucks? i am gonna breed my holland lop (doe) w/ my friends mini lop (buck). the female is 4-5 months, and the male is almost a year. i want to breed them around the spring around march. he will be a year and a half. will he be infertle by then?

  2. When they are three years old it is best to stop using the same male bunny, but a female lasts for four to five years so he is fine.

  3. no they do not stop making sperm. which by the way female rabbits don't make sperm either...they make eggs. :D just a little humor. anyways deer don't stop make sperm.

  4. Please, please do not breed your rabbits. Do you realize how many rabbits are sitting in shelters and rescues? Are these even breeder quality rabbits?

    Please fix your rabbits instead. It'll be MUCH healthier for them. Fixing rabbits cuts down on many behavioral issues (marking, aggression, territorialism, humping), makes litter box training easier, and has some great health benefits.
