I am going to France on monday and I've created an account with VIP Communications to call home with. I will be staying in hotels in Paris, Providence, and Nice. If anyone could share their experiences using hotel phones in France that would be great.

  1. I was in France last summer and I used a pay phone in the hotel to call the US with a phone card and it worked just fine.  You can also buy "Carte Telepheriques" with a "puce" that you can insert in their phones at the "Tabac".  (You can buy phone cards with a child that you can buy at the tobacco store.)
