  1. Maybe 5% do, if they can afford to loose that unit.

    I have 30 units, 2 section 8.

  2. i was talking to my dad (who is a landlord) about this the other day because one of my roommates wants to buy a building and have all section 8's. he thought i was joking.

they don't HAVE to accept the section 8 person, and t goes back to what kind of tenant you'll be, paying your part of the rent on time, not destroying the apt prior to leaving, not cuasing the police to have to come out. generally they are just looking to have a good tenet and not get stiffed on the rent.

  3. I looked into what they would pay me

I looked at what the market rates were for my apartments

I read the regulations for landlords, expecially how to collect for damages done by tenants

And I decided that it was not a good business decision for me at that time.

  4. yes more and more peo0ple do its guarenteed money and no one wants to sell thier house for little money so yes and goodluck...

  5. its guaranteed money.  so i believe most will.  your background and what you're doing currently will play a major role as well.

  6. It's a pain to be a Section 8 landlord.  You don't love it or hate it.  It just is.
