  1. Loads of them. Am frequently coming across fellow northerners when I'm in London. Lot of them in the entertainment industry now.

Am curious why you want to know.

  2. Yes they do

    I went Lake district

    Manchester for undergrad

    London for postgrad

all my friends moan that they havent got the guts to move here

  3. Generally only those who have got themselves a job down in London.

  4. Only the Dumb ones like

    Cilla Black

    jimmy Tarbuck

    and still they are scousers

  5. Why go to London?. Last time I was down there it cost me a fortune, especially as my credit card got cloned in a major supermarket checkout (only time the card was used) and paid for an escort girl from an agency along with 400 pound from a bank in Henley, I asked for directions whilst there, but could not find anyone who spoke English!!. We may be a multicultural society, but Why move to another country (London) unless they have better weather.

  6. Lots of people from all over UK including Scousers and northerners in general do indeed move to London.  And why not?  This is their Capital City of England and everyone is welcome here.

Yes - London is as insane as you have been told.  Here is the mob at Liverpool Street Station in London singing Rik Asley's 'Never Give Up' - well, I think it's singing. . . .

  7. My son went to a church secondary school and I think he has seen more ex-pupils there than he has seen in Liverpool for years. The attrition rate in this city has been a disaster for our future Many of the best leave generation after generation. The same can be said for a Scout Group I was once involved in the majority have left Liverpool not always for London but abroad. I have little doubt that this is reflected throughout the north

  8. HI,  Many do,  but i m  sure many regret it.
