My husband is trying to convince me they "go" in their pants while racing. I think he's an idiot. Does anyone know the answer to this??

Thanks!

  1. Thy do it in there tights I'm pretty sure.

  2. i think they do "go" in their pants   but not certain

  3. Porta-potties are normally on the side for marathon runners to use.  Unfortunately, good marathon runners can't just stop in the middle of a race, so they either hold it or "go."  Most would probably just take care of this problem before the race, though.

  4. for the average runner thear are port a loos at  all stages of  the  corce but most elite runners would loose to munch time  so thay go just have to just have to do it on corce   as was the case  for paula radcliffe in the  womans olmpic marathon today

  5. Generally, there are port-a-potties just in case the need arises.

However, unless a ton of fluid is had just before the race, marathoners can take care of their needs before the race, and the rest of the fluid in them is used during the race for sweat and other functions, but not to "go", as you said.

    hope it helps!

  6. No they don't go in their pants.. But they have pottier potties.. But when your running try not to worry about going to the bathroom.. When i go running i try not to think about going to the bathroom even though i may need to go.. I think about finishing the race and then heading to the bathroom.. No worry.. Kay!
