  1. I am Irish I don't know if you need a a visa, you would probably be best to contact the Irish embassy.

However as you do not need a passport to travel to ireland how would they even know you are Mauritian?

If you have some sort of photo I.D you can travel to Ireland without a passport.

  2. If you are a legal citizen of UK, then you do not need one, but if you are not, then you do need one

  3. The Irish Embassy in London would be able to tell you.

  4. Hello Mo,

check with the Irish Embassy in London, a simple phone call will get you all the information you require, and the rest as they say is easy, then, come on over, we would love to meet you and show you around, try and see us in Galway too as well as Dublin, they think they are great, but we in Galway are truly friendly, and lovely to our visitors....kindest regards to you Sir,.......Tony M......

  5. WARNING...Visa's aside in Ireland the immigration officer you meet after de-planing  or de-ferrying will decide if you can or cannot enter Ireland if you look or sound foreign then he will certainly ask for a passport if you do not have one you will be turned back..The safest way is to enter thru Northern Ireland as you have not yet left the UK then either get a friend to drive you or drive yourself ....Do not take the Bus...It is always pulled over and documents checked. Also I think the train from belfast to dublin is a safe mark too...good luck
