Hello,

I am a Greek who will go and live in Canada for a couple of years.

I was wondering if medicine here and there have different names..

That was the case when I was in France.

Thanks in advance!

  1. The name of the drugs will likely have the same name, but the brand names that they're sold under will probably be different.

For example, in Canada, I take Advil.  In the UK, they don't sell Advil, so I look for a bottle that says "ibprofen", because that's the name of the drug in Advil.
