  1. there is always a possibility of finding the giant shark somewhere in the wild, but there isn't a very good chance of it, if scientists haven't found any corpses or non fossilized remains of them then they probably did go extinct.

    Plus that large of an animal would be a massive eater and people would be able to see jumps and sags in animal and fish population if one was in that area.  Comon, the thing could eat a VW whole lol.

  3. While they have found coelacanths and megamouth sharks living in the wild, they still havent found any megalodons although it is widely believed in the scientific community that they do exist; we just havent found them yet.
